Activity Feed Configuration

Hello everyone, i have encountered an interesting problem when trying to set up a filter for the Activity Feed (What's new) on one of our dashboards.

Requirement: user needs to be able to see all posts related to the entities enabled in Post Configuration.

Problem: user does not see posts from other users, only automated posts are shown.

Context: If user enters a post for Account/Lead/Opportunity directly in one of the records, those posts do not show on the activity feed set up in one of the dashboards. If user makes a post directly on the activity feed in the dashboard user post is shown.

So my question is how can i set up a filter when the user selects All Posts < All Records. Where do we get that view All Records from?
