How do you do a detail inquiry in GP2010 when you do not know the exact information? In the old version we could put "contains" which was a great help.

    Hi,

Which details are missing?  Below is a screenshot of the Detail Inquiry window (Inquiry | Financial | Detail):

First, you will need the Account Number. Afterwards, you can then choose a range of Date, Source Document and Currency ID.

You may also look at using Smartlist where you can use a search string using a segment of the Account Number.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Tristan
