A client is wanting a "Show Message" when they process an approval request, or approval. Is there some way to add dynamic information to the message such as the document number to the Message line and what syntax/format is needed?

If it’s enabled here which I’m dubious about it would be %1 as an example. You can swap out the number for others. In this case what number equates to what is a case of trial and error. The deferrals feature of BC has defined values for each, but this scenario is not documented.
