Hello, I am following that step by step https://community.dynamics.com/business/b/arounddynamicsnavworld/posts/import-payrolls-in-business-central to import a payroll but I always end up getting this error: "The Account No. column is mapped in the PAYROLL_IMPORT format to BigInteger field, which is not sopported."

does anyone know why?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
I would suggest to check the column definition first:
What "Data Type" is defined for the clolumn "Account No"?

And what format does the field "Account No" have in the file you use?

Hi Katrin, thanks for replying, in my Data Exchange Definitions configuration, I have my fields set up as texts.

This is the error I always get:

And this is my input file:

Would you be willing to copy and paste the entry into a General Journal instead of what is mentioned in the link?  I just worked with ADP to create a CSV file and now I am able to run it and copy and paste it right into BC.

What version of ADP are you using? How were you able to handle Dimensions?

We are using ADP's WorkforceNow platform.  For payroll entries, the Dimensions we use are location and department.  Our General Journal template is set up to have those as available fields in Dynamics.

You may need to contact ADP to see if they can write an export file if you not able to do so in their Run environment.  I can say for us, now that we can download this file quickly, the copy and paste into the journal entry is so easy and quick.  HUGE time-saver.
