Upgrade - Where's my extensions?

Hi All,

Just a quick one. After a version upgrade, I saw one client retain all their extensions, and another, the extensions disappeared.

Can someone let me know what the proper procedure would be for version upgrades in terms of extensions ?

    From what I recall, The PTE/Global extensions should remain, unless they are not compatible with the version.  DEV extensions will be removed, with data retain.

    Hi, This is a standard scenario.

    When you publish your extension from VS Code. You can see the following message.

    Important: Extensions that have been published from Visual Studio Code are removed when the environment is updated or relocated within our service. For more information, see this article on sandbox environments https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2153804 .
