Intially check the setup is done or not in Role-centre page.
Secondly check the setup is properly mapped . Row Definitions and column Definitions are correct. And also verify how many General Ledger Entries are carried out in mentioned setup
Output should appear in role-centre page .

IF you feel this answer is helpful  , Please verify the answer .

    Hi,

If you don’t see the chart in the Role Center, make sure your User Role has permissions to the Account Schedule and G/L accounts..

Also you may follow the steps for new setups.

Step-by-Step: Setting up Mini Trial Balance on Role Center Page
     1. Create or Configure an Account Schedule (Financial Report)
    1. Search for "Account Schedules":
      • Use the Tell Me search (Alt+Q) and type "Account Schedules".
      • Select Account Schedules from the list.
    2. Create a New Account Schedule:
      • Click New and give your account schedule a name (e.g., MINITB) and description (e.g., "Mini Trial Balance").
    3. Define the Lines:
      • In the Account Schedule Lines, define rows for the G/L Accounts or account categories you want to include (e.g., Cash, Receivables, Payables, Equity, etc.).
      • Use the Totaling field to specify G/L Account ranges (e.g., 10000..10999 for cash accounts).
      • Optionally group and subtotal lines (Assets, Liabilities, Equity, etc.).
    4. Define Columns:
      • Go to Column Layout Names (link at the top of the page).
      • Create a layout that shows values like:
        • Net Change (for the period)
        • Balance at Date (if required)
     2. Create an Account Schedule Chart
    1. Go to Account Schedules and select your mini trial balance schedule.
    2. From the ribbon, click Overview, choose your Column Layout, and check that your data displays correctly.
    3. Now, go back and click "New Chart Definition" (or "New" under Account Schedule Charts depending on version).
    4. Fill out:
      • Name: MiniTBChart
      • Description: "Mini Trial Balance Chart"
      • Account Schedule Name: Select the one you created (MINITB)
      • Column Layout Name: Choose the column layout you configured
      • Choose chart type (e.g., Bar, Column, or List)

     3. Add Chart to Role Center
    1. Navigate to your Role Center Page (e.g., Business Manager, Accountant Role, etc.)
    2. Click on "Personalize" (gear icon > Personalize).
    3. Click on the area where you want the chart to appear (e.g., under "Insights" or in the FactBox area).
    4. Choose "+ Add Chart Part" or similar depending on version.
    5. From the list, select your Mini Trial Balance Chart (MiniTBChart).
    6. Exit personalization by clicking Done.

Hope this will help you to sort out  the issues.

    Thanks,
    PRao

Agreed with the below responses. You need to establish the required row and column definition and let us know in case there is any further error.

The account schedules in your Business Central account are well configured for quoting in the Trial Balance chart on the Role Centre page. If you view the Trial Balance chart and find the error message stating the Trial Balance chart is not configured due to less rows in your account schedules, all this means is that your account schedules attached to the chart do not contain enough account or lines to summarize and show Trial Balance data. To resolve this issue, you need to check out, configure or alter your account schedules and ensure there are sufficient accounts and balances in the account schedules for the Trial Balance chart.

Make sure to utilize the account schedules that are fully configured, have the correct structure, and sufficient rows to support your ledger accounts. Now that you've adjusted or created new account schedules, the trial balance chart should display data correctly. You should also check or validate that permission is granted as well as data being loaded so that the Role Centre page can display and access the report correctly from the account schedule any defined results or outcome. This should help with providing you with highly functional financial data from Business Central.

    Thanks

That error message means the Trial Balance chart on your Role Center is looking for data from an Account Schedule that either doesn’t exist or is missing rows.

This is a common issue if the “Trial Balance” chart part is not configured after a fresh BC install or company creation.

Here’s how you can set it up properly:

    • Open Account Schedules → Look for “TRIAL BALANCE.” If missing, create a new Account Schedule.

    • Add Rows (example):

      • 10 → 10000..19999 → Assets

      • 20 → 20000..29999 → Liabilities

      • 30 → 30000..39999 → Equity

      • 40 → 40000..49999 → Income

      • 50 → 50000..59999 → Expenses

(Row Type = Net Change or Balance)

    • Verify Column Layout → Ensure it has Net Change or Balance at Date column and assign it to the schedule.

    • Assign to Role Center Chart →

      • Open Role Center → Click Trial Balance > Show Chart Setup

      • Select your Account Schedule & Column Layout

    • Refresh Role Center → Chart should now display correctly.
