App for Outlook search regarding

Hi,

As far as I know, App for Outlook Set Regarding field is based on Quick Find Views.

So, I want to search for any Opportunity using Relevance Search in CRM with phrase "Business".

And I'm getting huge amount of results. Phrase appears in Opportunity's Topic, in Customer Name, as first word, second, last everywhere. That is working fine.

But after typing the same phrase into Set Regarding Lookup gives me almost nothing. Well, I'm getting some results. Several accounts are "Business something INC", some contacts got email like "business_master@gmail.com". Unfortunatelly I do not have Opportunity with "Business" as first word.

Actually I don't use App for Outlook a lot, but Sales Dep has to tracking their mails.

This behavior of lookup is driving them mad. While they are mad, I have to listen to their bitterness, or read their threats towards me.

Is this a common problem? I'm pretty sure that it was working somehow better earlier this month.

Version 1710 (9.0.2.2279) online

Same problem occurs on Outlook Desktop as well as on Outlook Online.

    Search on Set regarding is different search experience from Relevance search.

    In Set regarding it search for views that are configured and user can change views by clicking on Change View or change attributes. Its documented at:

    User can do set regarding from relevance search as well. Once you search and open a record there is a link icon that appears which does the same set regarding action.

    Agree with the above suggestion, when you search for regarding, it will search on the firt entity which is account and not all entities. When you say it was working fine before, can you check with users whats the difference now. It is possible that Ms has changed something with the recent update. In this case, you can contact MS support @ https://admin.dynamics.com
