What does this error message mean, "The G/L Account does not exist. Identification fields and values: No.=''?

I get this error when I am trying to convert a purchase quote into a purchase order.

Hi Sarah

Can you please check your Posting Setup:

1. Gen Posting Setup for the combination of Gen Bus. Posting Group which is defined at Vendor Card and Gen. Prod Posting Group which is defined at Item Card.

2. Check Vendor Posting Group also.

3. If you are including VAT, then please check VAT Posting Setup with a combination of VAT Bus. Posting Group and VAT prod. Posting Group.

Check if you have a line in your quote with the type of G/L Account but with a blank No.

If so either delete that line or add a G/L account no. in the No. field.

This solution worked. There were dimensions attached to the line, but no other information.

I am postiing a bank/cash receipt journal however I am getting an error that there is no GL code 40400 however I am not posting into this account how do I get around this.
