    Hi Andrew,

You could add a workflow on the Document Location entity and on the creation of a record, add the document link to a custom URL field on the related (regarding) record.
Set this custom URL field in a tab on the form.

    Hi,

You cannot remove the Documents out of Related and place it on the form along with other tabs. One way to achieve this is you can add a new Tab on the form and add the Document Location sub grid in that tab, but doing that you will miss out on the OOB functionalities such as being redirected to the SharePoint folder from the SharePoint URL and thus it’s rather better to use the OOB Documents link in the Related tab.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    No it is not possible.

However! Wait for the release 2 wave in October 2019 .

It is a scheduled feature :).

Only available in Unified interface ofc.

It is supported to add a sub-grid to an exiting form top tab that has the same behavior in related document link.

Here is a recent write up on how to add a SharePoint Document Management "Files" Subgrid using the Power Apps form designer.  Also how to set the Default View to the "Document Associated Grid" for the sub-grid.  Works on enabled Document Management tables (custom or out of the box entities)
