Dimension value - code mandatory

Even though the dimension values are defined in the assembly, the system keeps asking to select a dimension code.

I could not figure out what is the reason. I removed the dimension and re-entered again. Still the same issue.
Account 59200 - inventory adjustment account - (setup with code mandatory for dimension cost centre in G/L card)

Any suggestion ?

Nirmala,

The message does comes from the GL Account mandating the Dimension Code COST CENTRE. Now, for the Finished Assembled Item and Components, each of the Items has a COST CENTRE Dimension Code, yes? Also, in Assembly, you could have Resource so please check if that has a COST CENTRE Dimension Code set.

Yes, there are resource lines. Those are having cost centres assigned.

Hi, this seems to be that you added the dimension to the master data (G/L Account 59200), but it is not applied to this document.

Is the dimension added after the document is created? If so, please delete the document and create a new one, which should solve the problem.

No dimension mandatory has been setup initially, not after the document creation.
