Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I stopped working in Prod Order, Item Recl. Journals

Posted on by 5

Hello,

Our tenant updated to BC 20.0.

Since then, the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I for the Item Tracking window has stopped working on various places, where it used to work in 19.5.

Does someone have a solution?

Many thanks

    Jiggy,

Nice find. Folks on the Forum, the majority, do not work for Microsoft. We are here to assist users who use Business Central and their issues. Your issue with the keyboard is not something that many folks would know about and Microsoft would directly.

    Thanks,

    Steve

MCP pros have no clue, deafult answer just pay for a support ticket.

    again it's ctrl + alt + i.

Don't bother contacting support. Figured it out on my own trying different combos.

    It's now ctrl + alt + i.

    Thanks Microsoft.

    Ramzi,

I would connect with your Partner who can send a ticket request to Microsoft for support.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Thank you very much Steve. The "Ctrl + Shift + I" shortcut isn't listed in this template, but it seems to be still part of the global keyboard shortcut list. it is very useful in our environment where we use item tracking a lot. Any other idea? Now Ctrl Shift I triggers always the Microsoft Edge Dev tools. Changing the Browser to Chrome didn't help.

Any further idea would be greatly appreciated!

    Ramzi,

Attached is the Keyboard template from Microsoft for BC, released recently.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
