Automate the substitution of Items inside the BOM?

Hi, Is there a way to automate the substituting of items inside a BOM when the stock runs out.

Like for example, we have apple in the BOM and when apple's inventory runs out, it will substitute Banana inside the BOM.

Hi,

For this do customization.

Create One field in the BOM --> Substitute--> Boolean

Then After Refreshing the Production Order, check the inventory of Item according to the attached BOM. If Inventory of Apple is not available then consider Second item for that.
