Dear All,

I am building customized SSRS reports for Sales order and Sales invoice.  I wanted to add these reports on Sales Navigation pane,  can anyone let me know how to do this.  Basically I wanted to have one shortcut called sales transactions on Sales Navigation pane and when I click it, it should load all sales transactions and I can select the transaction and select my custom report type and print the same.

    Hi Jorge,

Thanks for your kind reply.  I was suspecting that but just wanted to be sure.  The problem is users of 2 companies both uses navigation list report so I cant use GP security since it will stop their own company list also.

    Hi Babu,

I believe it is not possible to switch on/off Navigation Lists based on companies.

You can control access to them using GP security, this will not hide it from the navigation pane, but the user will not be able to open it.

    Hi Jorge,

Quick question on the Navigation list once created can be seen all the companies, how do I restrict to specific company so that other companies doesn't see this.

    Hi Jorge,

That is exactly what I was looking for and thanks for your kind reply.  I am able to do the same only thing I had issue was on GP 2013 the action button is missing on Action Pane and after changing to menu bar I got the same.

    Hi Babu,

The simplest way to achieve this is by creating a 'Navigation List Builder' with an 'Open Web Page' Action.

Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > SmartList Builder > Navigation List Builder

You can set up the parameters you require for your SSRS in the 'Open Web Page' window.

You can also achieve your requirement using Dexterity, but this is more complicated.

    I hope this help
