    Hello,

Custom buttons are shown only on Associated View and not on subgrid.

what's the relation between case & your sub-grid entity ? if it's N:N then add button will not be visible.

    Hi Mark,

Relation between the two is 1:N. I checked out the link its shown for 1:N add button will be visible, but in this case its not visible. Is there something that I'm missing?

    Regards,

    Hima

    1) check if you have 'Write' privilege on 'subgrid entity' - same logged in user

    2) ensure this case -> subgrid entity is 1:N relationship.

    3) check if the ribbon customization has been modified

    4) check in the ribbon of your case record -> associated entities -> that subgrid entity is shown

    5) check using ribbon workbench - are you able to see add button in associate view for that subgrid entity

    6) check you have lookup of case in your subgrid entity (another way ensuring 1:N relationship)

    Hi Hima,

You might have created Referential relationship between these entities. Change it to Parental. Then add button will appear.

    Thanks,

    Karthick.

why it will not appear if referential is it only appear for parental
