Hello,
I just ran my depreciation for the period and I noticed I used the incorrect target date. I have not posted the batch is there a way I can reverse the depreciation and re run it correctly? My other question can I just rerun the depreciation with the correct date? If I do that will the items that were depriciated on my first run be depreciated again or will it just give me the difference?
Thank you
Mitzi

Mitzi,
You can undo deprecation by specifying the target date in past. Example: if you want to undo the deprecation for May and revert it back to April 30, enter the target date April 30 in deprecation window. This will create the undo deprecation transactions for the assets.
If you just rerun the depreciation with correct date, it will not duplicate the depreciation. GP will create the transaction for difference of depreciation between target date selected last time and new target date. Example if you accidently deprecated data to May 15 instead of May 31 and you rerun the depreciation for May 31. The depreciation transaction for May 15 to May 31 will be created.
