We currently receive an EDI order from one of our Customers which is then imported into one site and then emailed and imported to another site. Each site packs different products so fulfils a different part of the order.
I know from my previous employment we had an Order Split functionality which looked at the EDI and also a order split matrix table and then split the EDI depending on the data that was in there.
Is this classed as Standard NAV? Or does anyone know if BC365 will have this function? We use Linkfresh and they don't have this functionality but is something we are looking to implement.
Toria,
This is not a standard feature of BC. However, I did this also in the past and the EDI addon performed this function before the Order was created. I would check with your EDI software addon provider. If you have logic to the splitting rule, maybe location or something, EDI can split and create individual orders on insert.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Steve
