We are using GP 2013, we have multiple locations. Can I create a Stock Count Schedule for one location and item class, and have transactions such as stock count data entry taking place in another location for the same item class.

    Hi

Should be no issue with this whatsoever.

Locations and their stock levels and transactions are all held separately in the database.  The stock count should "lock" the count of the transactions only for the location selected and other locations would not be impacted.

The only transaction I can think of that would impact both would be a transfer - otherwise it should be fine.

    Cheers

Thanks, there will no transfers on the day of the count.
