Creating New Company - File Browse Disabled

Posted on by 2

Greetings!

I'm setting up a new company DB in my test environment and am not able to change the path of the data and log files in the Database Setup window in utilities.  I seem to remember this happening to me a long time ago but don't remember the fix.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

Turns out I was able to delete the patch in the field and past in the path to my other drives without a problem.  Utilities finished setting up the new database without a problem.

    Kirk,

Thanks for responding.  I'm an admin on the server and am logging in as 'sa'. I tried it again by right clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator" but that didn't make a difference.  I'll continue looking.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jim,

Are you running utilities as an administrator? Sounds like this might be a permissions error.

    Regards,

    Kirk
