SQL Error while connecting to the database SQL (0)= ODBC=

Have anyone ever got this error?

The only way to get rid of it was forcing the user out of GP by terminating all GP related processes in windows task manager.

When the user logged in back to GP,  he was required to change his password due to it being expired.

Could this error be related to the password expiration while the user was already in GP?

    I believe it is related to Password being expired as you suspect. To make sure, you may change the group policy not to have password expired, would this error remains ?
