Parsing the Received Email Message body and retriving the data in the email body.

Hello Everybody,

Today i got a task that, In CRM outlook client, whenever we track the email at that time the message body has to be read by the CRM Plugin and then read the data of it.

As of the task am doing on that. While tracking the message body in plugin, the data am seeing is like a Table structure with HTML tags(ex: <table>,<tr>,<td><p><span> etc.,). Now I want to parse that tags and i want to read the data. Is there any possibility or is there any other solution to read the data in the message body.

Here I used REGEX options also it is taking too long time to parse the data and filterization on it and even though am not getting exact result.

Please could you help me.

Note: Here am using DeliveryPromote Message to read the tracking email.

Instead of coding it ourselves, we decided to use a pre-built tool for this - parserr.com. We initially wanted to parse incoming email, as you mentioned above and then send it to Dynamics as a "New Lead".

We later changed that to using a spreadsheet, extracting row data (lead per row) from Excel using Parserr. You just send them the spreadsheet and setup your parsing rules and they automatically extract. But they do email body parsing too.

Full disclosure - through talking to the founder of the business, Im happy to vouch for them and help them along. Which is what Im doing here.

Please find below post that explains how to parse HTML tags to get information, this code you can include in plugin to get required details of specific tag, "ParseTag" method from post
