When exporting the “VAT Statement” to XML in BC, an error is reported because the value in the “Tax Office Number” field exceeds the value used in the XML. This field needs to be set to 1000.

    Maybe this will help.
     
    In the CZ localization, when exporting the VAT Statement via XMLport 11766, the “Tax Office Number” must meet specific format or range constraints defined by the Czech tax authority.
     
    Fix:
     
    Go to Company Information or VAT Statement Setup.
     
    Set the Tax Office Number field to 1000 or within the valid range expected by the XML schema.
     
     
    If the value is longer or outside the valid range, the XMLport export will fail.

    procedure to enforce a maximum length of 3 characters for the Tax Office Number. That means any value above 999 (or a 4-digit value like 1000) will trigger an error because it violates the length restriction. This is likely done to comply with the required XML schema length constraint for Czech tax reporting.

    Ensure the value is ≤ 999 (3 digits max).
