Server-side sync issue between Gmail and Dynamics 365 CRM mailbox

Hello,

We re are currently facing a problem in the configuration of Dynamics 365 mailboxes and Gmail.
We have followed this guide to connect our Gmail address to Dynamics 365: https://www.arbelatech.com/insights/blog/how-to-set-up-dynamics-365-and-gmail-integration-yes-you-can.html .
When this configuration has been enabled, some users have successfully connected their mailbox, others haven't.
After multiple searches, we tried security options like : Unlock Captcha App, Enable Less Secure apps in Google, check "It was me" on the critical security mail we received in Gmail after enabling mailbox in Dynamics 365, but we got this error message everytime in their D365 mailbox configuration:  
"Email cannot be sent for mailbox "Your mailbox is now connected to Dynamics 365" because either a server certificate needed to connect to the email server could not be validated or the credentials used to send email are incorrect or do not provide access. Mailbox "Your mailbox is now connected to Dynamics 365" didn't synchronize. A notification about this is posted on the alerts wall for the owner of the email server profile [Profile Name].
Email Server Error Code: OutgoingEmailAuthenticationError"
Anyone has another solution to authorize Dynamics 365 sync in Google Security ?

    We haven't tried to change passwords yet, as suggested in the Inogic solution.

    We are going to do that.

    Hello,

    We changed the password, according to the Google password policy.

    Unfortunately, this has not changed the problem. We still get the same error message when activating the mailbox in Dynamics 365.

    Weird thing, User can receive the security message in their Gmail  : "sign-in attempt was blocked" with the link "check activity"

    Have you got other options to authorize sync between Google and D365?

    Hi Alexandre,

    You need to check Gmail Security, Gmail will at times block connections from third party apps.  While Dynamics 365 uses built-in security features to keep data safe, it is not exempt from Google's own built-in security features.  To enable this connection:

    1. Go to https://google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps
    2. Toggle Allow less secure apps: ON

    This security features has been enabled on each Google Account. But even with this option enabled, some users can't synchronize their mailbox in D365.

    HI Alexander,

    Error is clearly showing that, you have some authentication/password issue with Gmail.

    Please have a look at the MS support link:
