What is the best way to merge records on the CRM?

Hello,
If I'm not wrong for standard Lead, Account and Contact OOB functionality exists. If you need it for custom entities I'm afraid you will have to develop such functionality.
I thought this was the case too but i continue to get duplicates
As Andrii says the OOB ones should merge for your older records
But your second point
Have you created and enabled duplicate detection rules? This is under Data Management
You would set criteria for matching and on save it would warn if a record matches.
It seems that I missed release of "Cases merging" feature. Based on following article it was released in 2014 - www.microsoft.com/.../merge-similar-cases.aspx
Anyway, what kind of issues do you experience?
