Inventory Status

I am unsure if this is actually a Dynamics question.

When I try to input a work order, take out the inventory used, there is a column that reports no available inventory. However, this inventory is there under an allocation column. The inventory is also present when I do a cycle count.

How can I get the inventory into "Available" so I can finish the input of the work orders ??

Yes, you can put the inventory adjustments to correct this issue.

    RE: Inventory Status

Based on your screen shot, The inventory item (140110)  is not available in your stock.

    1. you have put for the 17000 qty receipt for 14110 item.

    2. The Item has been issues to kit/BOM assembly (-3580-2317-3954-2190-2994-1965) = (-17000)

Hence your the receipt Qty has been issued fully against the kit/BOM, There is no qty available shown in your inventory.

Did you run the process manager?

Here is a snip of what I am seeing in the Lot/Serial window under inventory status inquiry. We have the 1965 left however, it says Issue. Do you know what that means? I'm assuming this is why I can not pull the inventory back into available.

You have to do the following steps to run IN Integrity check against the Inventory Item.

    1. Open IN Integrity check(10.990.00)
    2. Select the Validate Inventory Check Box
    3. Select the Rebuild Item Quantities and costs check box
    4. Select the inventory that you want to  run the Integrity check using F3 PV lookup
    5. Check the Rebuild on Order Quantities
    6. Check the Rebuild inventory plan
    7. Click begin processing
    8. Once the IN Integrity check process completed, please run the Process manager (40.400.00) screen which can found under Order Management module if process manager is not running on standalone machine.
    9. Below picture is for your reference

    Hope this explains.

I am learning  a lot at once because no one here really knows how to use Dynamics. So I open that window and it wants me to select validate. When I select validate the other options illuminate. How can I rebuild this item to show as available?

    RE: Inventory Status

    Hello Pharma,

Did you try to run the IN Integrity Check(10.990.00) screen for particular Item & Site Id?

You may need to rebuild the Item Quantities and cost against the particular Item & Site ID.

    Hope this helps.
