Does CRM allow user to create individual mailbox?

Hi Experts,

Does CRM allow user to create individual mailbox? In my Setting->Email Configuration->Mailboxes, I only find +New Forward Mailbox.

Mailboxes have to be created within the O365 tenant first for each user and then you can configure CRM to link to that mailbox.

So the mailbox in CRM is one for one CRM user? CRM doesn't allow me to create a mailbox for non-crm user, correct?

The mailbox in CRM is simply a 'pointer' to another mailbox - it's not really a mailbox in it's own right. You are right when you say that the mailbox in CRM is only for CRM users. O365 allows you to create mailboxes for all O365 users - even if they don't have a CRM license.
