How to attached New Database

Hi

   I have Demo Database installed . I have another database how to open that. I get error . Screenshot attached.

    Hi,

    It seems this database was upgraded to another version.

    To know database version from SQL server management studio open this table $ndo$dbproperty and check the value in this field databaseversionno, compare it by Demo installed database.

    Hi Ramy

     I installed Demo version . Then thru Administration i created another Instance Nav . I used all ports of DynamicsNav71

    & stopped default DynamicsNav71 Instance.

    When i start another instance it is running . But when i run Microsoft Dynamics Nav i get error - A server was not found at net.tcp://localhost:7046/Nav/Service.

    Database Version No is - 70740

    In Administration first time it shows Running , but when i run Navision it stops then does not restart.

    Hi,

    From Development Environment and check Server Instance is there or not. If its blank that means Service tier is yet not mapped correctly. check the event viewer for more information's.

    Check service user is not in db or may not a db_owner.
