Hello All,

I am getting the following Error in CRM:

Server was unable to process request..
0x80043202
The end date is invalid.
Platform

Here is the KB Article for the error:

But in our case there is not more than 68 days between Contract Start and Contract End Date and I don't see anything wrong with the date. Does anyone know what exactly is causing this error and how to fix it?

    Hi Padram,

    Please make sure your contract line start and end date must be between the contract start and end date.

    Hi Sam, 

    This is actually a Contract Renewal Process (existing contract for which the Contract Start and End Dates are getting updated).

    Original Start Date: 2/24/2008
    Original End Date:  2/24/2013
    New Start Date: 3/6/2009
    New End Date: 3/6/2014

    There are 3 Contract Lines associated with this Contract:

    Contract Line 1:

    Original Dates: 1/3/2009 to 1/3/2014
    New Dates: 3/6/2009 to 3/6/2014

    Contract Line 2:

    Original Dates: 1/3/2009 to 1/3/2014
    New Dates: Failed to Update

    Contract Line 3:

    Original Dates: 1/3/2009 to 1/3/2014
    New Dates: Failed to Update

    Same goes for Bill Start and End Dates. This is a process that has been in place for a very long time and is working. Just not in this case. Here is a stack trace of the errors:

    Hi

    It's amazing that how can be end date of Contract Line 1 is grater than end date of Contract? Please check if you have installed any new roll up i think it will be the Roll Up Issue. To make sure, we have tried to create new contract where Contract Line end Date is grater than the Contract End Date but we unable to create the Contract line.

    I changed the Original End Date of all Contract Lines to 2/24/2013. We get the same error message still.
