We are using Business Central version 19.5 and when we try to post a Transfer order get a meesage 'The Item Ledger Entry does not exist. Identification fields and values: Entry No.='7883'

I can see that this entry is not on the Item Ledger Entry table. Any idea on how I can fix the issue?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

I tried to post the transfer order in 19.5 version and didn't face any such issue.

I think it is due to the customization. Please check if there is any customization is build over so that it is stopping the posting.

    Thanks,

    Avinash B

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. We do not have a customisation and it only happens once a week on random item numbers so it is very difficult to determine what is causing this.

    Regards

    Hi,

Since we are not getting this on our standard BC, It would be difficult to tell what is the issue.

When you get the error next time, please go to Help & Support > View the last known error.

Here you get the last error details along with the call stack.

Using that you can identify or you can paste here for further investigation.

    Thanks

    Hi

This is looks like a strange message. I cannot understand why Item Ledger Entry does not exist.

    A few questions

    1) Do you allow "negative" inventory in your environment? If yes I think you should have enough inventory for this to post.

    2) Do you use Item Reservation? it is yes that is the chance that you do not have exact reserve item for this

My recommendation is ask your partner to look into this and look to find the exact cause of the error.
