Adding Document Templates to the solution

Hello All,

I have created some document templates in my CRM 2016 online version. I would like to add those Document Templates in my solution so i can import that solution in another environment. When i made a solution, i am not able to locate the Document Template entity, but if i go to Advanced Find and try to locate the Document Template entity it returns me the list of all the Document Templates which i have created.

I would really appreciate the response.

Hi Durgesh,

Document templates can't be added to solution as they are not solution aware.

You cannot do this.

You can download the template and save it manually.

Hi,

You can't add the Document templates to the solution, Document templates are stored in the Database as the records.

and Microsoft doesn't provide any option to add those templates to solution.

Even You can't download the templates. when you upload the documents, you need to store in your disk as a copy.

If you wish to download the templates from the CRM 2016, you can use the following Add-on

This pdf-docs solution will provide an option to download the word templates and excel templates

We have also some templates but while elevating the solutions, we need to upload that template manually.

It is manual step like we do for TEAM.
