Hi, 

I wanted to make a required field as autonumber, how can i do that
(e.g: when i create an new entity, the "name" is a required field, i'd like to make this one as a autonumber)

    Hi happyman,

    With the Dynamics 365 (online), version 9.0 release, you can add an auto-number attribute for any entity. You can achieve auto number following ways.

    1. XrmToolBox - Auto Number Manager - http://anm.xrmtoolbox.com/
    2. Easy AutoNumber Utility for Dynamics - https://dynamics365heroes.com/2017/10/02/easy-autonumber-utility-dynamics-365-july-2017-update-v9/
    3. Add the attribute programmatically - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/developer/create-auto-number-attributes

    You can select auto number field as primary field and make it required at the time of entity create. you can use plugin to generate auto unique number in this field.

    The second method:

    You can configure the Prefix, Suffix and the last used number.
