Hello everyone

I need your help. I have 2 instances: Test and Production. I 've had many problems to export and import solutions because the solutions are not exactly same, so I need compare my 2 solutions that should be equal. When I go to solutions settings and click on the particular solution, I can view the difference in the number of components in each instance.

This work I should do it in all solutions and looking for the difference for each component's type (entity, process, etc) is not productive.

I 've looking for a tool to do it but nothing satisfy it. I need select the solutions in each instance and to view the differences like 'This entity doesn't exist in Test, this process doesn't exist in Production'. There is any tool do it this?

I've found this tools but they can't help me:

In Xrmtoolbox:

It compare all the instance, not each solution in particular.

In a despair moment I downloaded the solutions and took the file customizations.xlm for each solutions and I used the funtion for t compare texts of notepad++ to find the differences but it was unreadable. I thought to copy the html when my browser list the components but like previous, was unreadable.

Someone knows about a tool to do it this? Can you help me?

Sorry but I am new in the Dynamics 365 CRM's world. I could making a mistake in this text and the solution can be here, any comment will be welcome.

    Hi FBCH,

Export a solution from each instance, and compare them using data comparison software such as Beyond Compare. This is a better option than using Notepad++ for this task.
