Object Range should be between 50100-50149 while importing .app file in business central

Hello everyone,

I have developed my BC (Cloud) extension using sandbox environment by using 50100-50149 object range  and after developing my extension completely, I requested Microsoft to grant me an object range for BC extension development  and to get it published on AppSource. They have assigned me 1000 objects in 70M object range.

I have also signed PRA and RSPA agreements with Microsoft and got PSBC account access. I also have MPN account.

Now I have replaced the object IDs with Microsoft provided object IDs and added permission sets accordingly but when I import .app file into the Business Central (PROD and Sandbox both), It fails and gives the error that Object Range should be between 50100-50149.

Can anybody provide me its solution?

I have the same question (0)

Your extension still acting like PTE (Per tenant extension) on Cloud because Upload Extension button is only for PTE extensions.

If you want to get your app installed on BC(Cloud) make it available on AppSource first. And then get it in BC cloud environment.

Did you add/change the object range in the app.json file?

Object range to use must be specified in app.json file for your extension, please check.  Remember that an app on AppSource cannot be manually imported into the SaaS tenant but must be installed directly from AppSource.

Yes I have mentioned the object range in app.json.

But I think Sudarshan khandal is right that I will have to get my app on AppSource, then it will work like expected.

    Thanks for your valued answers.
