Double Carriage return in text box fields created in CRM 2011 prior to Rollup 12v2

Hi Team,

Just thought I might report another bug we found after installing Dynamics CRM Rollup 12v2 for CRM 2011. Please let me know if you too also have this bug in your system. For now I have only replicated this bug on Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 (Compatibility mode turned off). This bug does not occur with compatibility mode turned on.

I have a standard text box field with the following lines as an Example. This data was created in the text field in versions prior to Update Rollup 12v2:

Line 1
Line 2
Line 3
Line 4

When you open the CRM record on Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 after installing Rollup 12v2 the field displays as the following:

Line 1

Line 2

Line 3

Line 4

So far it looks like if I create a new record in Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 10 there are no double carriage returns. Creating records in Windows 8 with IE10 appears fine. It's only happening to records created in CRM 2011 prior to Rollup 12. It also happens in all entities.

We have no fancy JavaScript loaded. The problem disappears if I use the site in compatibility mode.

Is anyone else experiencing this at the moment?

Is it just me or do some poeple get ignored in these forums?
