I'm looking for help with a monthly sales report so that I can calculate sales staff commissions.
The report needs to display;
Posting date,
Invoice number,
Customer,
Product description,
Product cost price,
Sell price,
GP,
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Try out of the box report Salesperson - Commission first. The line level detail is certainly missing from that report however it considers invoices and credits.
To get exactly what you’ve asked for you either need a custom BC report or you devise it outside of BC. Use web services to publish pages that show the data you need so for example customer ledger entries, item ledger entries and salesperson/purchaser should give you what you’re after.
