Copying master data from one environment to a new one

Hey

So I have been in the middle of setting up a new environment in D365 BC and noticed the language of the default parts was in the wrong language. (I hadn't been the one to setup the environment just given it to work with) so after checking why this is and still implementing all the master data into the current environment it has been brought to my attention that we need to setup a completely new environment in the power platform with the correct language settings.

Is there a simple way of bringing over all the master data from the existing environment to the new one so that I don't have to manually input everything again as this will take me ages?

Laura,

One of the easiest ways to get data from one BC environment to another is to use configuration packages. You can export the data and a rapid start template and then import it to the new environment import both and then you will have the master data. You can also do this for setup screens as well.
