We are attempting to access an external site, and want to know if it's possible to use SSO using the CRM credentials? We're using some IBM software, and our goal is to build an iframe with the IBM site inside of our CRM that will pass the CRM credentials. I've found quite a bit of documentation on using single sign on to get INTO the CRM, but nothing for coming FROM CRM.

The IBM people tell me we should be able to use any SAML 2 compliant resource, and that the Office 365 based CRM should work. They are telling me to get the IDP.xml file and send it to them, then they are going to get me a similar file that I'll need to import into our 365 account.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, can you point me in the direction of where I get the IDP file. I am out of my depth at this point. Thanks for any asistance.

As far as I know you would not technically be using CRM credentials. You would want to look into AD FS to use the Active Directory credentials for SSO.
