Cannot post transfer journal

So I am seeing a transfer journal that will not post because the system believes or states it cannot pick the quantity to be transferred as zero is available but the system also shows that in the same location there is sufficient physical stock and available physical stock to reserve.. however if I try to reserve the stock manually on the transfer order line the quantity in then Reservation column vanishes rather than adjusts the stock quantities.

Any ideas, really not sure this is how the system is supposed to behave?

    Hi Chris,

    If you have quantities available for reservation, you should be able to reserve or post without problems.  Often problem has to do with Inventory dimensions and reservation hierarchy.  

    Can you share screen shots of Inventory Reservation screen and InfoLog.

    In my screen shot below, itag #1 is the quantity available for reservation.  You could further refine these by selecting the inventory dimensions available for reservation (screen box).  Tag #2 is where I think you say the quantity is disappearing.  What is the quantity at tag#1
