Production BOM Always Shows First Version Not Current Version At Opening

Hi

Anytime users open Production BOM from Production BOM List they see the first version that setup in BC. Then they need to go to Process - > Versions to select the most current version. This is confusing for user.

Is it anyway that most current version always shows up at the opening on BOM from Production BOM List?

Thanks

Hi, did you find a solution to this? We want to work with versions and expected it to show the current version as default, not the first production BOM we created. It seems very strange from a user standpoint to show an old BOM that is not up to date.

    MahGah,

I will defer to developers on the Forum. I know the base code does not show the Version and an extension will allow you to see this but will defer to developers here about complexity.

    Thanks Steve for response

We are in BC SaaS. I checked with developer and they said since "this is base code" they don't recommend it. I just wonder if anyone had such request before or you (or anyone else) are aware of any method to do this. Even if method requires development but without changing base code.

    Thanks

    MahGah,

I am not a developer but I am sure this can be done in updating the Page.

    Thanks,

    Steve
