Menu not visible in area

Hi all,

I have created the managed solution without sitemap . when i export the site  its asking the option where should i show the  solution menu (like which under marketing ,sales etc). i have selected the checkbox option marketing sales . but after i import the solution in my client crm . menu are not getting loaded .

Then i have added the sitemap in solution and trying to import in my client machine . since i have used many third party solution in my crm  which throw error some files and solution missing whcih is depend if third party solution of my crm .

Please advice me something to make it visible .

    Hi,

    On the target environment (After importing the solution), you need to open the entity and again select the option marketing, sales followed by save & publish. It would be one time effort.

    As you have already noticed, to make it appear automatically, you need to add the sitemap and all the entities should exists in target.

    I am not using any entoty in my solution i am only used webresourse file .

    Okay, so you just want to move the area/ subarea? For this you need add the sitemap to your solution however this may not work if the entities included in the sitemap are not available in the target solution.

    Do you have option to directly update the sitemap on your client's environment? there are tool which you can use easily. In CRM 2016, we have inbuilt sitemap editor.
