Users with no assigned security role

Has anyone been experiencing associates showing up in "users with no assigned security role" that do NOT have a CRM Online license assigned to them? They are associates of the company but we have not assigned them a license so I am unsure as to why they are showing up in "users with no assigned security role". I confirmed in AD that the licenses are not assigned to them but they are still showing as if to assign them a role.  Anyone else experiencing this aspect?

    Hi Katherine,

    If the user ever had a license assigned they might get added to Dynamics 365 as an enabled user.  One thing I have seen another post do is to go into the user record in Dynamics 365 and change the access mode to "non-interactive" and this should hopefully stop the issue with the message on the user.

    Thank you for the reply!  These users actually have never had a license in the system. The only thing I can see new on their licensing is Flow. I wonder if that is causing the system confusion...

    Hopefully the setting I mentioned addresses the issue of the message
