How to add serial No`s to items already posted

Hi, I`ve been a little ambitious and posted items to inventory which I now require to add serial No.s and lot No.s to

I have the serial No.s and Lot No.s setup for new items im posting and this all works...

However Older items are still sitting with No serial No.s and I want them to have a serial No and lot No.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Hi,

decrease item inventory to 0 with the item journal. Enter the item tracking code to item card. Increase item inventory to previous inventory with item journal but this time include serial numbers when increasing the inventory.
