Is there a Queue Item Limit in a Queue?

Is there a queue item limit in a queue, like, for example if your queue reaches 500 000 queue items, new queue items will not be stored or the oldest queue item will be deleted? Does CRM have any limit to this, or there is no limit you can have millions of queue items in a queue?

    Thanks Harihar,

    I don't think any of my queues will reach a million queue items. However, I was asked by a client if there is a limit in the number of queue items in a queue.

    I don't think we have any limit on the number of items in a queue. I do not have practical exposure to Queue/Queue items - hence wait on comments from experts who worked or have more knowledge in this area.

    Could you please share why your use case results in Millions of queue items?

    I would say following might help in case you are likely to have queue items running into millions.(My theoritical knowledge:)

    1. Limit the number of queue items based on the Security role.

    2. Divide and Conquer by creating distinct queues for specific function - So items can move from one queue to another.
