Usage Based Billing - re-posted from Yammer

We are trying to use Usage Based Billing for a potential customer who would like to bill their customers for the usage of their platform.

At the moment, they are able to extract from their platform the daily usage of each customer example;

Customer A - 01/01/2024 - Qty 1 - $50

Customer A - 02/01/2024 - Qty 1 - $25

Customer B - 01/01/2024 - Qty 1 - $27

Customer B - 02/01/2024 - Qty 1 - $30

Customers are to be billed monthly for all the (daily) usage done in that month.

How can this data be translated to be used in Usage Based Billing? We are having difficulties to set up the Service commitment package to have a daily (1D) billing period with a monthly billing frequency as that returns an error.

Also, although in the usage suppliers we set the flag to use the unit price from the import, looks like this is ignored and still use the item's unit price on the item card and completely ignores the quantity we feed in through the import.

Can anyone assist with what would be the best setup in order to test the above scenario?

Thanks in advance!
