Hi everyone,

I researched Related product under Released product/ Product Action Pane/ Setup/ Related product, but it's too difficult to find out the docs.

Only docs: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/set-up-product-relationship-types

Can anyone experience this function and it will be better if you give me the topic about this.

This is my research and i want to know about this. Please.

Best regards,

    Hi Nhu,

I moved this one to the D365 forum.

    About your issue:

I am not aware of a sales order specific feature that would allow you identifying / selecting related products.

To me it sounds that you are more looking out for supplementary items.

Here is a short video on that: www.youtube.com/watch

If you use supplementary items then you can select them in the SO line by clicking sales order line button - calculate supplementary items

Please check out this functionality as it sounds to me that you are more looking out for this one.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    RE: Related product

    Hi Nhu,

We use product relationship type mainly for product catelog and mainly when we do cross-selling to customer to buy related product. For Example, Your main product is HD camera and your related product could be memory card or extra lens so when a customer comes to buy Camera, system will show/display memory card and lens as related product to buy with camera.

So this is one of the practice of marketing/promoting additional products to your existing customers.

    Hope it helps.
