Create bank account statement/ Bank account balance records using API

Hi,
 
We have access to a bank's API which gives us the details of the balances and also the bank statements, can anyone please point me to the API or the documentation where i can Update the account balance or create bank statement records using MSD 365 Business Central APIs? Is it possible? I cannot seem to find the POST call for updating bank statements or bank account balances.

    As far as I know this requires custom APIs, hopefully the information below can give you some hints.

    Thank you, can you please let me know if we need a sandbox environment to do this and do we need to be a Microsoft partner to actually get a sandbox environment? Really new to this world so any help would be appreciated.
