User can assign charge item to lines of the type: item in sales orders. Can user assign a charge item to a GL account in a sale order? I tested and that seems not to be something out of box. If user needs such feature what would be best way to achieve?
Yes, you are right. GL Account cannot be found on the charge assignment page.
A way to do this is to create an Item of Type as Service pointing the Sales Account to the 'GL Account' you wanted to assign to.
