Advanced Find for Duplicate email addresses

Hi,

Is there any way to use the Advanced Find option to search for duplicate email addresses?

I need to filter a search of 15,000 leads to remove leads with the same email address.

I know its easy to do this by exporting to excel and then removing the details there.

    Hi TedW,

    Download the XrmToolBox if you don't already have it. in there there is a tool called Deduplicator

    open it, click Load Entities, then in Entities Name look for Lead.

    Select email, check match and view. Also at the bottom you have other options e.g. Case sensitivity, White Spacing etc.

    When you're a happy click the Find Duplicates button and it will present all leads that have the same email address

    Hi,

    We would suggest to write console application to process duplicate records. The code is easy to write and processing will be faster than exporting excel. Advanced find will not be able to show the duplicate records until and unless you don't have any filter like checkbox to identify whether it is duplicate record.
