Hello Fellow Developers,
Do you guys know if MS has replaced/upgraded the SDK.MetaData.js library file? If yes, where can I find it?
I have some old code that I need to support.

You can use webapi to query the metadata in Dynamics 365 v9.

The purpose of introducing Web API is mainly to avoid dependency of the external JS or SDK. By using web API now you can achieve query with metadata and as well as you can avoid Organization Service dependency. Please follow the article already shared by Aric.
The main aim of Microsoft Dynamics 365 to have single API for all , in future release of Microsoft might be deprecated Organization Service as well.
