Automated Document Email

We are receiving more and more requests for automated emailing of documentation such as BOL and packing slips to both internal and external contacts.

This would be when a BOL or Packing slip is generated, attach to an email, and send to a predefined contact list with internal contacts and external contacts. This could be defined by the configured contacts set for the Delivery address

Is this possible without customization? If so, how is this set up and what are the limitations?
I have the same question (0)

    Hy,

for both documents it should be possible within Standard F&O to send out a e-mail to specific recipients.

You need to go the print management and activate printer destination e-mail. Then you can enter either a business purpose (allocated on the Customer address) or and worker title of a contact person at the customer, and you can add manual other e-mail address.
Form setup for Packing slip it is allocated in Accounts receivable/Setup/Forms/Form setup/print management and for BOL in Warehouse Management parameter/Print management

You can also create print management settings for individual customers if required.

    Hope this helps
