CRM2013 Upgraded Custom Entity - NULL Header Name showing as New Entity

Hello Community,

We have a custom entity in our Org. that was recently upgrade to CRM 2013. On this entity the primary field at the entity definition is Name (like most fields) however we don't populate that field with data when we create them.

In CRM 2011 this wasn't an issue to have a NULL value as the Header for that entity simply would not display anything.

In CRM 2013, it now shows it as New EntityName

If you populate the name field, then it will update accordingly.

My Question is:

1. Is there a way to have the old behaviour back and have it display nothing if there is a NULL value for the Name field

2. Is there a way to customize that Header Name combo in a supported fashion?

Thanks for reading.

Unfortunately, there is no supported way to change the form title.
